Firstly, HomeLink® is available inside Chevrolet vehicles such as the Chevy Malibu, Silverado, and Traverse. You can enjoy the HomeLink® system within all-new Chevrolet vehicles:

• Ease of Use: You can access HomeLink® within your Chevrolet by pressing a few buttons.
• Compatibility: You can connect your garage opener, gate system, and other radio-frequency (RF) devices for your HomeLink® to control.
• Control Up to 3 Devices: You can control up to three devices within your home from your vehicle’s HomeLink®.
• Safety & Security: You can choose which devices you want HomeLink® to access and control, such as your lights, security system, and garage door. Not only can you control each of them, but a notification via your car will let you know if your lights are left on or that your garage door is open.

How Do I Program HomeLink®?

1. There are three buttons commonly located on the ceiling above the center console to access HomeLink®.
2. Press and hold down the first and third buttons at the same time until the interior lights flash. The lights inside your Chevrolet should flash within twenty seconds. The first and third buttons are the master reset buttons. Thus, you only need to do this step once.
3. After the interior lights flash, press and hold the first button you want to program while pressing the open/close button on your garage door opener. The interior lights will flash slowly to rapidly, indicating that the programming is complete.
4. Enter your garage and press the “learn” button on your garage door opener to complete the step.
5. To ensure connection, press the programmed button for a minimum of two seconds. The lights on your garage door opener may flash; if so, this indicates a link.
